So this past week was my last week going into Ms. Dombrow's for my CFE. During the week we continued on with R&J and did the typical things like warm-ups and watching/reading R&J, but on Friday, my last day, we did something a little different. On Friday we took the class outside to rehearse scenes. That's right for Act 3, Scenes iii and iv the students were preparing to act them out on Monday in groups to the rest of the class. The fun part about this activity for me was that I got to walk around the football field and not only watch the students practice their performances, but help them prefect their performances, which I really enjoy doing. If you didn't know this Romeo and Juliet is one of my favorite pieces by Shakespeare and I love theater. Romeo and Juliet is actually part of the reason why I started to write poetry. Anyway it was a great last day because the students actually wanted to perform for me and asked me questions. Also at the end of class when Ms. Dombrow announced that it was my last day the students actually were very upset and I was not expecting that. I'm actually very sad that my CFE experience is almost over. I wish it lasted longer. I'm really going to miss all the students...If this is what it is like to be a teacher I think I need more practice with having students leave me. Anyway I loved my CFE experience, so thanks for making it available to me.

I saw them on the football field as I ran the track! They were doing a great job, and totally into the acting part. Perhaps it was because the sun was shining. What the crap happened to that yellow circle anyway?
